Willie James Campbell was born November 24, 1960, to Monroe Thomas and Edell Campbell. He departed this earthly life and entered eternal rest on March 21, 2024.
Willie was educated in the public schools of the area. He was a 1980 graduate of Hartsville High School.
He was employed with A.O Smith Manufacturing Company as a welder. Willie was a committed employee, dedicating six years of hard work to his job before his passing.
He married his soul mate, Evelyn Allsbrooks Campbell.
In Willie’s free time, he enjoyed watching the Steelers play and working in the yard.
Willie was a member of True Saints Church of God in Christ.
Willie was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Thomas.
Left to cherish his memories are: His loving and devoted wife, Evelyn Campbell; Loving mother, Edell Campbell; Sons: Andre (Jereka) Robinson, and D’Angelo Robinson; Sisters: Eva Mae Smith, Helen Davis, and Patricia Rogers; Brothers: Randy Campbell, Ronald Thomas, and Donald Thomas; Sisters in law: Chantel Allsbrook and Gayla Jenkins; Brothers in law: Wilson Allsbrook and Willie Allsbrook, God-daughter: Sonia Collins; Special friend, Ricky Martin; host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
