Shirley Ann McDaniel Bull

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Shirley Ann Bull of Darlington, SC.

Ms. Bull passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, SC. 

The family will receive friends at:

1414 Oak Bend Drive Hartsville, SC. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

“O For we know that if our earthly house, (this) tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

Mrs. Shirley Ann McDaniel Bull was born on May 23, 1956, in Darlington, SC. She was the daughter of the Late Bobby Gene McDaniel and Lizzie Louise McFarland. She entered eternal rest on August 14, 2024, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.

Shirley graduated from Butler High School in 1974. She began her career as a Machine Operator at S&W Manufacturing, where she dedicated over twenty-three years before retiring. 

Shirley cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. Her favorite pastime was going on family vacations, where her vibrant spirit made her the life of the party. Whenever Shirley was around, there was never a dull moment. She was also a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan. 

Preceding Shirley in death are her parents, the Late Bobby Gene McDaniel and Lizzie Louise McFarland and sister, Barbara McDaniel.

Left to cherish her loving memories are: her children, Lorenzo McDaniel, LaToya (Milton) Parker, and Shemar Hudson; sisters: Peggy (Tommy) Cotton, Cynthia (Michael) Graham, Shirley Lucas and Paul McDaniel; brother, Melvin McDaniel; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
