Sharon Annette Montgomery

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Sharon Montgomery of Hartsville, SC. 

Mrs. Montgomery passed away on
Sunday, December 31, 2023 at home with her family by her side.  

The family will receive friends at:
448 Penn Circle, Hartsville, SC. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Ms. Sharon Annette Montgomery was born October 13, 1956 in Hartsville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Barney L. Montgomery and the late Ethel B. Montgomery. She attended Butler High School where she was in the graduating class of 1974.  

Sharon worked diligently at the Cotton Mill and A.O. Smith. She also enrolled in CNA classes. 

Sharon was high-spirited and always smiling. She lived a carefree life where she was always ready to laugh as well as give knowledge and wisdom to her loved ones.  

Sharon was married to Jerry Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her great-nephew, Keith D. Montgomery.

Left to cherish her memory are: her son, Marcus A. Johnson; granddaughter, Mariah Kellie Ratliff; special friend, Leroy (Burt) Covington; sister, Rosa M. (David) Cuffie; nieces: Andreal Montgomery and Yashica (Timothy) Cuffie-Fraylon; nephew, Kevin M. (Valerie) Montgomery; great-nieces: Essence N. Montgomery and Riyah Cuffie-Fraylon; great-nephews: Antonio Montgomery (Lashonda Lucas), Frankie L. Campbell (Michelle Campbell) and Tyronne R. Montgomery; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
