Roxianne Blakelynn Smith

We regret to announce the passing of Ms. Roxianne Blakelynn Smith. 

Ms. Smith passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. 

The family will receive friends at:  1629 Harley Circle, Hartsville, SC. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Roxianne Blakelynn Smith was born on August 25, 2005, to Cody James Smith and Carol Nichole Parnell Smith.  She departed this earthly life and entered eternal rest on February 14, 2024.

Roxi attended Mayo Magnet High School from her freshman year up until her junior year.  She was a 2023 graduate of Lamar High School.   She was employed at Zaxby’s, as a cashier, where she had plans of becoming a team/lead crew member. 

 Roxi enjoyed spending time with friends, listening to music, napping and being with her son.   She was one of the funniest people that you would ever meet.  She was an adoring godmother.  Although Roxianne was only a mom for a short time, from the beginning she was a loving, nurturing mom.  Kymir could not have asked for a better mother.  He was her greatest joy.  Roxi was a very caring person and when she loved, she loved hard.  She was a beautiful soul.  She attended Favor of God International Worship Center.  

Roxi was preceded in death by: Maternal grandfather, Phillip W. Parnell of Lamar, SC and Paternal Great Grandmother, Cornelia Smith, and cousin Erin Willoughby.  

Roxi leaves to cherish her loving memories: A two-month-old son, Kymir Damari Washington; Mother, Nichole Smith of Hartsville, SC; Father, Cody Smith of Lamar, SC; Sister, Jazmyne Smith of Hartsville, SC; Maternal grandmother,  Sharon Parnell of Hartsville, SC; Maternal Great Grandfather, Robert Alexander of Bishopville, SC; Paternal grandparents, Angie and Kenny Campbell and Joe Smith of Lamar, SC; Uncles, Hunter (Aisha) Campbell of Hartsville, SC; and Zach Parnell of Columbia, SC;  Boyfriend, Daveion Washington and his loving family who welcomed her with open arms; Godson, Kason Chase of Hartsville, SC; Countless cousins, friends, honorary nieces and nephews.
