Mrs. Mozetta Anita Covington was born February 1, 1958, in Lee County, SC. She was the daughter of the late Addie Mae Roary and Joe Lee Roary. She received her education from Bishopville High School. She married Bobby Joe Covington and had 3 daughters: Denise, Kimberly and Kantesha. 

Mozetta was a member of Mt. Beulah United Methodist Church where she served on the: Trustee Board, United Methodist Women, Youth Ministry as Chairperson, PPRC, Prayer Line, Finance Committee, Gospel Choir and she was also a youth Sunday school teacher.

Mozetta was employed by Darlington County School District where she served as a bus driver for 30 years until she retired. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Addie Mae Williams Roary and Joe Lee Roary; two brothers: Larry Williams and Hosea Williams; grandmother: Annie Lou Jonhson and a great-grandson, Logan Porter.

Those left to cherish her memories are: her husband, Bobby Joe Covington; three daughters: Denise (William) Paylor, Kimberly Covington and Kantesha Covington; one sister: Betty (James) Steplight; four brothers: Danny (Shiela) Roary, Aarron King Williams, Andy Stevenson and Johnny Stevenson; six grandchildren: Fantager Porter, LeRontae  Porter, Ty’Jai Peterson, Quanterrace Peterson, Tamia McFadden and Tre’yonna Samuel; two great-grandchildren: Lyric Porter and LeRontae Porter, Jr.; nieces: Monica Roary, Tasha Williams and Danisha Roary; nephews: Nicholas Roary, Johnny Williams, Dandriqus Roary and Clifford Gripper, Jr. and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
