Lynette Lide

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Lynette Lide.

Ms. Lide passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 in North Charleston, SC.

The family will receive friends at: 2600 Cherokee Lady St. Hartsville, SC. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

"For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Ms. Lynette Lide was born on July 19, 1974, in Conway, SC. She was the daughter of Patricia Mae Terry. She was a graduate of Mayo High School. She was a faith member of Mission of Faith Apostolic Ministries where she served on the Usher Board and as the Assistant Director for the Youth Department and Youth Choir.

Lynette cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved working, enjoyed traveling and found joy in taking care of others. She had a heart of gold and will truly be missed. 

Lynette was preceded in death by her son, Robert Ali Dargan, Jr. and grandmother, Eullarh Lee Lide. 

Those left to cherish her memories are: children: Briana Dargan and Dallas Dargan; four grandchildren: Eriana, Eriel, Legend and Legacy; her mother, Patricia Mae (Elder William) Terry; sisters: Tameka Terry and Cassandra Terry; godmother, Eloise Baker; special friends: Georgia Mae Cato, Tasha Peoples, Denise Scipio, Johnny Scipio, Davida Toney, Andre Baker, Robert Dargan and Valerie Rock; and a host of other close relatives and friends.
