Johnny Isaac

December 2, 1965 — February 7, 2025

Hartsville

A Time to Be Born:

Johnny Isaac was born on December 2, 1965 in Darlington SC. He was the son of the late Abe Isaac Jr. and Julia Mae Isaac.

A Time To Live:

Johnny received his education in the Darlington County Public Schools and was a graduate of St. John’s High School. Although Johnny’s natural unborn child preceded him in death, he helped to raise his two nieces Kathy and Angelica and two nephews Jarvis and Hector. Over the years, Johnny became a jack of all trades. He was a cook, farmer and handyman. These were just a few of his many talents. Some of his most recent employers included Darlington Veneer, New Vision, and One and Done alongside his nephew.

A Time To Worship:

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. Johnny was raised in a Christian home. He was raised up in the church and as a result, he visited local churches in the area throughout his life span.

A Time To Die:

On Friday, February 7, 2025, Johnny transitioned from natural life to eternal rest. He was a son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Johnny was just Johnny. To know him, was to love him. He was either going to make you laugh, make you mad, or both.

A Time To Celebrate:

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by two sisters: Priscilla Bush and Patricia Ham and brother-in-law Jerome Singletary. Those left to cherish his memories include a sister Patty I. Singletary of the home; brother: Albert Solomon; aunts: Geneva Cosom, Sue Benjamin, Lois Jackson, Rosa Bishop, Anna Bishop, Louella Bishop, Carolyn Jackson, Brenda Bishop, Artherine Graham, Mary Bishop and Gloria Pooler; uncles: Charlie (Shirley) Jackson and Bobby Jackson; brothers-in-law: Leroy Bush and Martinie Hunter; twelve nieces and nephews; eighteen great nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces and nephews, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
