Jaqwala La’Tifa Toney, affectionately known as “Tee Tee,” was born in Darlington County on January 22, 1991. She was embraced by the love of her two mothers, Priscilla Wilson-Price (significant other, Zachary Pooler) and Tammy Toney, and deeply cherished by her father and stepmother, Billy Sr. and La’Chevey Jackson.
Tee Tee was a proud graduate of South Florence High School. She had a deep love for reading, R&B music, and she was always passionate about learning. She had begun pursuing a degree, taking steps toward furthering her education, which was something she cherished dearly.
On September 19, 2024, our beloved Tee Tee departed this life in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she resided. Her sudden and unexpected passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Tee Tee is lovingly survived by her siblings: Antwuan Toney, Jamie Toney, Shaquana Toney, Shaniqua Toney, Breyon Toney, LaTavia Jackson, Monique Mungo, Daris Robinson, and Shyquese Smith, all of Hartsville, SC; La’Chevy Jackson, Jenasys Jackson, and Billy Jackson Jr., all of Florence, SC; Jasmine Thomas of Yemassee, SC; and Jhakeem Thomas of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by her grandmothers, Rosa Bell, Betty Ann Jackson, and Annie Wilson, all of Hartsville, SC. She will be deeply missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other cherished family members, and countless friends whose lives she touched.
