Ike McLeod

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mr. Ike McLeod.

Mr. McLeod passed away on January 30, 2025

Memorial services for Mr. Ike McLeod will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.  

All services are entrusted to Davis Funeral Home LLC, of Hartsville, South Carolina.

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear love one, but we know that all things work together for good to them that loves the Lord. Ike McLeod was born June 16, 1953 in Darlington County. He was the son of the late Elijah and Leather McLeod. Ike departed this earthly life on January 31, 2025. Ike was educated in the public schools of Darlington County, where he made many lasting friendships. He was a handyman, and he truly loved his family. Ike was always ready to tell a quick joke to make you smile. He was a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan!

Ike loved working in the ministry and serving God.

Ike was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Johnny McLeod, Sr; his sister Elizabeth (Ret) Chillious, and his brother-in-law Felton Chillious, Sr.

Those left to share and cherish his memories are his loving nephews Johnny (Pastor Deedra) McLeod, Jr of Hartsville SC; Anthony (Jen) McLeod of East Orange, NJ; Christopher McLeod of Irving, NJ; loving nieces, Angela McLeod Taylor of Winston Salem, NC; NyTasia (Rico) Chillious of Irving, NJ; Jessica Franklin of Florence SC; Jalisa Franklin and Johnacee (Chad) McLeod both of Hartsville SC; sister-in-law Lula McDonald McLeod and a host of great nephews, great nieces and other close relatives and friends.
