Gregory Levan Prince

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Gregory Prince. 

Mr. Prince passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Yea, thought I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Mr. Gregory Levan Prince was born on July 21, 1961, in El Paso, Texas. He was the son of the late Reverend Levan Prince and Louise Capers Prince. Gregory transitioned his life on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Atrium Health Hospital in Charlotte, NC.  

He learned early in life about Jesus and was a member of Salvation Army Charlotte Belmont.

Gregory loved fishing, going to the beach, long bike rides and listening to music. He also enjoyed eating good, cooking, and watching movies.

Those preceding Gregory in death are: brother, John Prince, his sisters, Debra Prince and Paula Prince.

Left to cherish his memory are:  brother, Sammy (Darletha) Prince of Charlotte, NC; nieces: Mary Brunson of South Carolina and Jasmine (Tamika) McCaskill of NC; nephew, Andre McDaniel of South Carolina; aunt, Frances Owens of New York; special cousin, Barbara McCuller of NC; special friends, Annette and Sandra of NC; caregiver, Tronda; and a host of family and friends.
