Everett Kim Thomas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Everett Kim “Kim Duck” Thomas of Hartsville, SC. Mr. Thomas entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 12, 2023. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC.

Everett Kim Thomas affectionally known as “Kim Duck’ was born July 10, 1964, in Darlington, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Eddie and Mary Price Thomas. He departed his earthly life Monday, June 12, 2023. 

Mr. Thomas was educated in the public schools of Darlington County and graduated from Hartsville High School in 1982.

He worked for many years at Glidden Paint Company. He also worked for many years for his father’s business, Thomas Landscaping. In his final years, he moved to Columbia and was employed with Johnson’s Garbage Company.

He was a comical man always smiling and telling jokes. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Mary Price Thomas and his son, Michael Thomas.

Surviving to cherish the memory and continue the legacy of Mr. Everett Thomas is his daughter: Shernell Thomas of Hartsville, SC; a son he raised as his own: Kenyardia (Kisha) Price of Hartsville, SC, thirteen grandchildren; Nshanti Thomas, Alayshia Thomas, Genesis Thomas, Nakia Johnson, Christiana Coe, Cameron Coe, Christopher Coe, Jr., Khadajah Walker, Keon Walker, Kensley Joye, Kennady Joye Price, and Kenston Joye Price. Three great-grandchildren: Brayden Smith, Nariah Smith, and Nevaeh Smith: a special friend, Rochelle Moses and a host of family and friends.
