Edward “Ed” Mario Kelley

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Edward “Ed” Kelley. 

Mr. Kelley passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 after an illness at Oak Hollow of Sumter Rehabilitation Center. 

The family is reveiving friends at 2300 Ousleydale Road,Hartsville, SC  

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC.

 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”                Revelation 21:4   

Mr. Edward “Ed” Mario Kelley was born on April 19,1960 in Hartsville, SC. He was the son of the late Marvin C. Kelley and Betty Ann Durant-Kelley. Mr. Kelley gained his heavenly wings on Tuesday September 19, 2023.

He was educated in the public schools and was a graduate of Hartsville High School. He served in U.S. Army rank of SP4 and received an honorable discharge.

Those preceding him in death are his parents: Marvin C. Kelley and Betty Ann Durant-Kelley; brothers, Archie Kelley and Cameron Kelley.

To cherish his memory are his sisters and brothers: Rosalyn Kelley (Rajiv) Berry of Dayton, Ohio, Cheryl Kelley (Robert) Byers of Rockhill, SC, Melanie Kelley of Hartsville, SC, Welmer Don Kelley, Timothy Kelley of Hartsville, SC, Larry (Peggy) Kelley of Ellenwood, GA, Levander Kelley, Richmond, VA, Michael (Parnetta) Kelley of Mauldin, SC, Marvin (Vicki) Kelley of Manassas Park, Virginia, Eric Kelley of Baltimore, MD; Aunts: Eloise Jackson, Dora Smith, Mary Toney, Suedale Saylor of Hartsville, SC, Helen Jenkins, Atlanta, GA and Barbara McDuffie of Brooklyn, NY; uncles: Ronnie (Linda) Durant, Sylvester (Allison) Durant of Southern Pines, NC; sisters-in-law; Margaet Kelley of Lancaster, SC and Denice Kelley of Richmond ,V.A.  A host of family and friends.
