We regret to inform you of the passing of Ms. Drucilla Peterson.
Ms. Peterson passed on October 4, 2024, after an automobile accident.
The family will receive friends at: 1001 Hampton Street, Hartsville, SC and 2808 Redwood Drive, Florence, SC.
Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Ms. Drucilla Monique Peterson was born September 1, 1990, in Darlington, SC to Allen Sowells and the late Melissa Peterson. She departed this earthy life on Friday, October 4, 2024.
Drucilla graduated from Hartsville High School in 2008 and also attended the Bamberg Job Corps Center in Bamberg, SC.
She was employed at Citi Trends Distribution Center and Ruiz Foods as a Machine Operator and Warehouse Associate.
She was an all-around Daddy’s Girl. She was a hardworker that would do anything for her girls. She enjoyed their family trips to the beach
and loved cooking on the grill. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Her favorite color was black and gold but she
loved wearing red, black and white to represent her Hartsville Red Foxes.
Preceding her in death are: her mother, Melissa Peterson; grandmother, Cilla Peterson and grandfather, George Peterson.
Left to cherish her memories are: her father, Allen Sowells; children: Madison Cincere Peterson and Mariya Justyce Peterson; sister, Arlene
Austin; brother, Avenor Peterson and Maruice Peterson; two special aunts: Shirley Lucas and Marie Johnson; one special uncle, Reggie
Cabbagestalk; grandmother, Betty Johnson; aunts and uncles: Bobbie Byrd, Mike(Mae) Robinson, Kathleen Campbell, Georgia Benjamin,
Michael (Barbara) Peterson, Rosa Lee Roberts, Stephen (Annie) Peterson; special cousins, Robert Snook Murray, Terrance Peterson,
and Ebony Adams; special friends: Amanda Jorden, Shoqunda Hunter, Dontae Horten, Desmund Jackson, TaSherra Johnson,
Donielle Keith, Kimeugenia Hickson, LaTasha Brunson, Latisha Thomas, Jashwn Thomas, Vy’shon Hemingway and Shelton Ketter;
and a host of other relatives and very dear friends.
