Cedric Jerek Moses

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Cedric (6’9) Moses.

Mr. Moses passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, SC.

The family will receive friends at:

425 South 6th Street, Hartsville,SC.

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC of Hartsville, SC.

Cedric Jerek Moses was born February 21, 1975, to Bobby Charles Bacote and Catherine Moses. Cedric gained his wings and departed this earthly life on Friday April 18, 2025.

Cedric received his primary and secondary education in the Darlington County public school system. Cedric graduated from Hartsville High School in 1993. Upon graduating from high school, Cedric decided to further his education. He graduated from Devry Technical Institute. Cedric utilized his degree that he earned. He was self-employed as a Home Improvement Specialist.

Cedric attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in his earlier years.

Cedric loved to build and do home improvements. He truly followed the saying of “love what you do” when it came to his job. Cedric had an infectious smile.

Cedric was preceded in death by his Mother Catherine Moses, Grandmothers Daisy Griffin, and Annie Bacote, Grandfather James Griffin and son Tyreke Brown.

Surviving to cherish and keep Cedric’s lasting memories alive are Father Bobby Charles Bacote; Children Bar’Shan Brown, Nygel Campbell, and Kayvion Moses; Brothers; Terry (Gutell) Moses and Cromarte Rogers; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other close relatives and friends.

 Although Cedric is no longer here on earth with us, we forever miss him in every memory and every moment. We will forever fee his love every day, all the time.
