Catherine Jackson Brown

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Catherine Brown of Hartsville, SC. 

Mrs. Brown passed away on
Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC. 

The family will receive friends at: 641 Hartland Drive, Hartsville, SC. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC.

“He should cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be

Catherine Jackson Brown was born on February 12, 1968, in Hartsville SC to Betty Jean Jackson-
Johnson. She departed this earthly life and entered eternal rest on December 6, 2023.

She attended Hartsville Sr. High School and was a graduate of the class of 1986. Cathy, as
she was affectionately called, was employed at Wal Mart. After many years of working, she
retired. Cathy was a loving wife to James and a loving mother to her children. She had a deep
love for the simple pleasures in life. She had a big heart and a warm smile.

 She was a member of Full Life Victory Center.

Cathy was preceded in death by her mother Betty Jean Jackson-Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: devoted spouse, James Edward Brown; a loving
daughter, Silicia McDaniel; loving sons, Anthony McDaniel and Dontrail McDaniel; brothers,
Willie Allsbooks Jr, Wilson Allsbooks, Albert Allsbooks; half-sister, Eveley Campbell; twenty-one
grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
