Calvin Huff

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Calvin Huff of 426 Lincoln Ave., Hartsville, SC. 

Mr. Huff passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at MUSC in Charleston, SC. 

Arrangements will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, LLC.

Mr. Calvin Huff was born on July 18, 1964 at Byerly Hospital in Hartsville, SC. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at MUSC in Charleston, SC. He was the son of the late Otis Huff and Beulah Mae Venson. He was educated in Darlington County public schools and was a graduate of Butler High School.

Calvin worked as a painter with Glidden Paint and he also owned Huff’s Painters. He loved riding out with his wife as well as fellowshipping with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents: Otis Huff and Beulah Mae Venson.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Jacquelyn Mitchell Huff; son, Xavier (Geneisha) Mitchell; stepson, Dominic (Tasha) Mitchell; brother, Willie D. Huff; sisters: Michelle R. Huff, Joyce (Donald) Williams, Dorothy Lemon, Sharon (Kim) Davis and Mary Ann Huff; four grandchildren: Zoey Mitchell, Zora Mitchell, DeMonte Mitchell and Keean Mitchell; two great-grandchildren: Light Mitchell and Khimir Mitchell and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
